Which pigments can I use with Poethan Acrylic Resin?
Acrylic Resin Pigments provide the greatest colour saturation when working with Poethan Acrylic Resin and require only a drop or two. The second best would be to use acrylic paints. We do not recommend using mica powders or alcohol inks as these require a considerable amount to obtain the desired colour. A helpful video can be found here.
Not sure which UV resin to use?
Thick viscosity UV resin has a higher viscosity than thin viscosity.Thick type is for doming and use in open back bezels as the surface tension is greater.
Thin type is for use in moulds as the thin viscosity allows the resin to spread evenly.
Standard is our previous UV resin and can work for all types.

Help! My resin is turning yellow! What's happening?
Epoxy resin and UV resin will always yellow over time, there's no such thing as a 100% anti-yellowing resin. However, all of our resin contains additives that slow the yellowing process.
To slow the process, make sure that you store your creations out of direct sunlight. Sunlight is the catalyst for resin yellowing. If you keep it out of sunlight, your creation is bound to last years.
Here's a tip - colour or tint your resin so the yellowing isn't obvious.
Don't want yellowing altogether? Try Acrylic Resin - Acrylic Resin does not yellow and is proven to last decades if treated properly.
What colour is Acrylic Resin?
Acrylic Resin is opaque. If you are looking for clear resin try our Epoxy Resin.
How can I take care of my jewellery creations?
Once you make your jewellery piece it's very important to know how to take care of it for it to last! If you're selling your creations, make sure your customers know how to take care of your piece.
"Last on, first off" is a broad guide when it comes to jewellery.
For everyday care, avoid contact with humidity, lotions, sunscreen, and beauty products as they can be harsh on metals. Do not submerge in water. Polish jewelry with a soft microfibre cloth and store in a dry, air-tight area away from direct sunlight.
Brass pendants can be cleaned with lemon juice, a quick rinse, and thorough drying with a soft cloth. Make sure that when you're cleaning, you are only cleaning the brass and not any other part of the jewellery - you might want to use a small cotton bud for small pieces.
Resin pendants can be cleaned with a damp cloth and should not be stored in direct sunlight.
